Synch Process Overview

Send360's autonomous, recurring sync process runs approximately every 15 minutes. On execution, Send360's sync process will:

  • Evaluate our database to determine if any ORDERS or MAILERS should be updated to your Salesforce Send360 custom objects.
  • If updates exist, establish a session with your Salesforce instance via the API under the credentials (UN, PW and Security Token) you enter one time into Send360.
  • Upsert data to our 2 custom objects
  • Depending on configuration options, the process may also update several "Last Mailer" related fields on Leads and Contacts.

In order to accomplish this, you will need to assign our "Send360 Integration User" Permission Set (or your cloned/modified version of that Permission Set) to a given Salesforce User, and enter that User's credentials into your Send360 Company Profile. Alternatively, you can simply use a Salesforce User with the System Admin User Profile as your Integration User.

Input Integration/Synch User Credentials

To configure the Integration User and thereby enable the synch process, perform the steps below.

  1. Access Send360 via the Send360 (Visualforce) Tab, then go to Admin > Company Profile
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the Company Profile page and under the section called "Salesforce.com Credentials" enter (a) your Username, and (b) in the password field enter your SFDC password then PASTE YOUR SECURITY TOKEN at/on the end of your password. Thus, for example, if your password is "mypassword" and your security token is "abc123", you would enter "mypasswordabc123" in the password field.
  3. When complete click SAVE. Your credentials will be validated and you will receive a success or failure notice.

NOTE:

  • If your password changes in the future, you must generate a new Security Token and then enter the new password and token in Send360 to re-enable the sync process.
  • These same stored credentials are used to execute automomous "Autopilot Jobs" which are automated mailings that run on a defined schedule, and which when executed import Salesforce Report data into mailing lists and submit direct mail orders.
