Submission of Packaged InDesign Files to Send360

Although for some uses cases - with added effort - Send360 can reconstruct and prepare (simple) Templates from PDFs, Word Files and other formats, in most cases we need PACKAGED INDESIGN FILES. Packaged InDesign files assure we can support you most efficiently, and have access to all your source assets like fonts, logos/images, colors and other nuances of your brand.

Designers will package and submit Packaged InDesign files:

  • When Send360 is delivering a new PARENT TEMPLATE to show Send360 your intended layout(s) and treatment(s) - and sometimes multiple layouts/treatments provided as layers - and provide all source assets.
  • When Send360 is publishing a new ONE OF A KIND Template, which is a Template which will NOT be cloned self-service, but rather is for a targeted use case without the need to create multiple variations self-service by cloning and doing self service publishing.

How to Prepare Your InDesign Files

Optionally Using Layers to show Treatment Variations

Design your content as you normally would, but if sections of your design content vary by use case then show the variations on different LAYERS. For example:
* In a Mortgage Company example, if a postcard can have layout variations for 3 treatments of (i) Single Loan Officer, (ii) Dual Loan Officers, or (iii) Loan Officer plus co-brand partner, then present the main postcard content as a background layer, and then each of the 3 contact info treatments as 3 layers on top of the background layer.
* In a bi-lingual letter example, include 2 different layers with one showing Engish treatment and the other your Spanish treatment.

Alternatively you can present each varied treatment as individual InDesign files, but delivering as layers is more efficient.

Packaging your InDesign Files

When your design is ready, use the InDesign File>>Package menu options to package your files and all related assets to a ZIP file. When doing so, use these settings:

Packaging will output a ZIP File. If you will be submitting multiple files at once, feel free to ZIP multiple ZIP files into a combined ZIP.

Uploading your Packaged InDesign Files

When ready, upload your packaged InDesign files at this page at our www.Send360.com web site under RESOURCES>>Upload Your Designs.

Once you've uploaded, the Send360 team will have immediate access and visibility and, as appropriate, will add a Support Case to keep your team informed on progress.
